Dr John Woolmore is a specialist independent Consultant Neurologist in Birmingham with a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis. He trained in medicine at the University of Cambridge and completed education in neurology in the West Midlands. 

Within Circle Rehabilitation, in Birmingham, Dr Woolmore, specialises in the rehabilitation of neurology patients and is an expert in Multiple Sclerosis. He is an expert in neuroscience, neurology, neurological disorders. He also helps people who are experiencing headaches, including migraine and cluster headaches, and who are recovering from neurosurgery, alongside the neurology team in the specialist clinics at Circle Rehabilitation.

He obtained an MD for his specialist training, education and research in genetics and cognitive neuropsychology of Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disorder thought to result from a combination of genetic and environmental factors. 

Dr Woolmore was appointed Consultant Neurologist at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Birmingham in 2009 with a specific interest in Multiple Sclerosis, and also works as Consultant Neurologist at Sir Robert Peel Hospital in Tamworth.

He sees neurology patients with all types of neurological problems. These include Multiple Sclerosis, headache and migraine, general neurology and advises on diagnosis and ongoing management. His specific focus is in management and therapy of Multiple Sclerosis patients and has an interest in central nervous system inflammation.

Dr Woolmore has a private practice at the BMI Priory Hospital in Birmingham as a consultant neurologist, he also works as the Training Programme Director for Neurology in the West Midlands and also Deputy Chair of the ABN Services Committee

Dr John Woolmore is a Consultant Neurologist in the NHS at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham where he specialises in multiple sclerosis (MS) and neurology.

He also has a private practice as a Consultant Neurologist at BMI The Priory Hospital in Birmingham.
