The well man healthcheck is part of a preventative health screening service, designed to help you assess your current state of health and catch early signs of illness.
This medical is for busy men looking for a general overview of their health status without the expense and length of time spent on a Full Circle Medical. In addition to blood tests and other baseline measurements, this health check assesses risk factors such as high cholesterol and prostate health as well as reviewing your lifestyle and health requirements.
Worries about prostate cancer are common in men over the age of 50, yet the UK is still without a recognised NHS screening programme. This health check addresses your concerns through relevant blood tests, a symptom questionnaire and examination of the prostate. An estimate of your individual risk from prostate cancer using a recognisable and reliable assessment tool is provided once all your data has been collected.
With our comprehensive assessment, we help to identify the physical, psychological, emotional and lifestyle components of any complaints you may have and offer advice on how best to manage the problem.
Health screening is carried out at Circle Bath, a state-of-the-art hospital, which provides you with some of the best facilities and superb patient care. We have a dedicated team of doctors and nurses who will guide you through the health screening process and will be available to answer any questions or queries you may have.
If any of our screening medicals find something that requires further investigation, we have over 120 consultant specialists at Circle Bath. We can refer to our specialists by appointment, for further assessment.
