David is a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a specialist interest in lower limb dysfunction and rehabilitation. He has a degree in Sport Science and Biomechanics from Liverpool John Moores University, after which he gained a pre-registration Masters in Physiotherapy at Birmingham University.
He has been practicing for more than 10 years. He has wide-ranging experience in all major fields of outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with roles including junior training at one of London’s premier teaching hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster; four years in private practice in Harrow, where he worked as Harrow School’s physiotherapist; and more recently, working within a physiotherapist-led MSK integrated care team across South Buckinghamshire. David has worked for Circle Reading since July 2016 and has been asked to use his expertise to support the development of various lower limb rehabilitation services for outpatients.
David is a passionate sportsman and when he’s not looking after his young family he spends his spare time playing golf, hiking the Highlands or following test Cricket and Manchester United.
“As a therapist from a biomechanics background I am fascinated by how we move but sometimes fail to move. I am a therapist that balances the need for hands-on treatments with the importance of good education regarding exercise and active living,” David says.
