Musculoskeletal: Rehabilitation for muscles and joints

Our musculoskeletal system is made up of bones, muscles, joints, nerves, ligaments and tendons which all help to support our movement. When you have treatment, it can often take some time to adjust and fully recover, which is where Circle Rehabilitation can help.

Our rehabilitation services specialise in aiding the recovery process following:

  • Hip and knee replacements
  • Hip arthroscopy
  • Fractured neck of femur and all lower limb fractures
  • Fractures of the upper limb
  • Back pain
  • Hand injuries
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Sports injuries

Following your surgery, the initial days and weeks can be vital in your recovery. As a standard, you’ll spend on average up to three days in hospital, with the team offering expert advice and care following your operation. Following this, patients take a number of different routes in their recovery. Some go back home and others may arrange to stay in nursing homes.

As a private patient, you can now choose to extend your treatment with our Circle Rehabilitation service. We offer a dedicated and intensive programme of inpatient care, usually for one or two weeks, depending on your needs.

We also offer non-residential intensive or flexible packages to fit in with your schedule, with before and after-work appointments available; and sports packages focused on injury recovery, returning to sport or improving performance.

Our friendly team of specialists offer a comprehensive range of treatments, personalised to your needs.

Our aim is to aid and accelerate your recovery (rehabilitate) after your surgery so you can get back to doing the things you love, faster.

Our consultants and therapy team will assess your needs to create an individual therapy plan for your stay. This includes up to three hours of therapy per day, and will be adjusted daily according to your progress.
