Circle Nottingham raises funds for the Alzheimer’s Society
Over the past year, Circle Nottingham raised a fantastic £4,638.82 for the Alzheimer’s Society. This is thanks to our staff participating in fundraising events, such as the Alzheimer’s Memorial Walk, bake offs, Christmas craft fair, raffles and tombolas, as well as a bike challenge between our two sites to see who could pedal the furthest in the same amount of time.
We held a final presentation on the 23rd May where Helen Tait, Hospital Director of Circle Nottingham (pictured left), presented Danni Hindle, East Midlands Representative for the Alzheimer’s Society, with a cheque. Danni acknowledged that these funds will truly make a difference.
The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that provides information and support, funds medical and social research, and campaigns for better quality of life for people with dementia. Circle Nottingham would like to thank our staff and patients who donated money for this worthwhile charity.
