Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Giant Cell Arteritis UK
This is NOT an inflammatory condition so you will not need to see a rheumatologist for advice on this condition which causes chronic widespread pain with a whole range of associated features
Critically the blood tests will be normal and there is NO diagnostic test. It is a clinical diagnosis based on history and an examination with no evidence if inflammatory arthritis but often widespread trigger points.
