Mr Cameron has been in post as a Consultant General & Hepatobiliary Surgeon since 2003 and moved to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham and Circle Nottingham in 2009.
Mr Cameron has helped to introduce the successful day case laparoscopic cholecystectomy programme at Circle Nottingham, and has been the clinical lead for hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery since 2012.
Since moving to Nottingham, he has taken on various roles including Clinical Director and Governance Lead for the Digestive Diseases Directorate.
Nationally, Mr Cameron has been Audit and Membership Lead for the Great Britain and Ireland HPB Association (2011-2016), and has roles currently as a national cancer peer reviewer, a question writer for the Intercollegiate Part 3 exam in General surgery and the Trent regional representative on the council of the Association of Upper GI Surgeons (AUGIS).
Mr Cameron sees and treats both NHS and private patients at Circle Nottingham.
