Excessive sweating treatment

What is excessive sweating?

Sweating is controlled by parts of the brain which send signals along your nerves to the small sweat glands in the skin. These nerves are part of the "automatic nervous system" which controls many unconscious body functions.

Excesssive sweating (hyperhidrosis) can be generalised or local to specific parts of your body. Your palms, scalp and armpits are among the most likely areas to be affected due to the relatively high concentration of sweat glands.

Extreme perspiration or sweating can be an embarrassing condition and can affect self-confidence and social interactions. We are able to provide quick relief from this condition through simple treatments carried out at our outpatient clinics.
