Midlands

The Midlands NHS Treatment Centre is located on the site of Queens Hospital Foundation Trust (QHFT), Burton upon Trent.  The Treatment Centre undertakes all day case surgery transferred from QHFT and also offers a direct access service (both day case surgery and outpatient treatment) via General Practitioners (GP's) for pain management services and ophthalmic treatment.

The Midlands NHS Treatment Centre is staffed by medical and nursing staff who are on the appropriate UK professional registers, ie. General Medical Council (GMC) and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Its Quality Account for 2009-10 is on our Statements & Policies pages.

All patients are asked to complete a satisfactory survey after their care and 99.6% of patients have indicated that they would recommend our services to a friend or relative.

The Treatment Centre has an exemplary record in terms of control of infection standards.

We provide services to the residents of South Staffordshire, Derby County, Leicester County and North and South Stoke Primary Care Trusts.

We are in the process of developing additional services for age related macular degeneration (a worrying eye condition)  and we will be undertaking Bone Anchored Hearing Aid procedures in the very near future.

If you would like any further information regarding the Treatment Centre do not hesitate to contact the General Manager, Kelvyn Price on 0782 744 6675.
