Sports Medicine

The Sports Medicine Service focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of Sports Injuries and Musculoskeletal Disorders for all levels of athlete from the recreational jogger & weekend sports enthusiast, the budding triathlete, veteran rugby player, through to the elite athlete wanting to return to sport.  It is also a service that caters for the non-exercising individual, perhaps with long-standing neck or back pain, joint pain or arthritis, or an occupational health problem or injury.

The Service is supported by leading edge technology including:

• Biodex machine
• Compartment Pressure Testing equipment
• Facilities to undertake PRP injections
• A fully equipped Sports Science Assessment & Performance Lab

We work as a team of Sports Medicine Specialists.  The team includes Sports Doctors, Sports Physiotherapists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists and Rehabilitation Therapists.  The key marker of success for us, is reducing injury time.

We operate a 24 hour hotline, so if you are unfortunately injured on the field of play or need emergency support for an injury, one of our team will be available to take your call and advise you on the next steps.
