Exclusion criteria

Private Patient exclusion criteria guidelines for surgery/anaesthesia

  • Patient BMI greater than 45
  • Private Patient under the age of 3 years
  • MI/CVA/Recurrent TIA within the last 6 months
  • Severe COPD/Asthma/Bronchiectasis
  • Diagnosed Myelodysplasia/Haemophilia/Thrombocytopenia
  • Any patient with an American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) score of 3 (who is unstable)
  • A patient who has a current and significantly unstable psychiatric disorder

  • Choose & Book NHS Patient under the age of 18 years
  • MI/CVA/Recurrent TIA within the last 6 months
  • Severe COPD/Asthma/Bronchiectasis
  • Diagnosed Myelodysplasia/Haemophilia/Thrombocytopenia
  • Any patient with an American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) score of 3 (who is unstable)
  • A patient who has a current and significantly unstable psychiatric disorder
