Staying with Circle

When you arrive for your treatment, you'll be welcomed by our greeters. After ensuring your comfort, they'll immediately inform the consultant responsible for your care of your arrival.

Your consultant will explain what will happen during your treatment. This discussion is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions or raise any concerns you may have.

Before your treatment you'll be asked to sign a consent form. It's very important that you understand the procedure to be performed before you sign it.

A trained healthcare professional will then bring you to our pre-operative area to prepare for your procedure, before escorting you into theatre for your surgery.

All patients have their blood pressure and temperature taken. Although you may have had some diagnostic tests when you were pre-assessed, we must be absolutely sure you're fit for treatment, so more tests may be needed.

You'll be introduced to all theatre staff before your procedure begins. For your safety, identification details and your consent form will be checked with the theatre staff and yourself before you are given an anaesthetic.
