Professional profile

Nicholas Armitage qualified in 1975 having studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. After extensive training in general, colorectal and breast surgery, he was appointed to the Queens Medical Centre as a Consultant in 1989.

His primary interests are in colorectal disease and hernias. He has a wide experience of all aspects of these conditions with a particular interest in anal conditions (fistula, haemorrhoids, prolapse and fissure) and in colonoscopy.

Nicholas is committed to treating as many of his patients as possible on a day case basis.
