Dr Alchi is a Consultant Nephrologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trusts.
His training was at The Eastern Deanery (Cambridge University Hospital and Lister Hospital). He also worked at Birmingham University Hospital. Dr Alchi completed his PhD between 2002-2006 at Niigata University, Japan.
He has published extensively in the leading journals and textbooks of Nephrology.
His research interest is mainly focused on the pathology of glomerular diseases.
Dr Alchi is experienced in all fields of Nephrology including acute and chronic renal failure, kidney transplantation and haemodialysis.
Bassam is married with two children.
