Professional profile

Dr Hussan qualified in BMBS at the University of Nottingham in 2003, having also obtained an intercalated BMedSci degree in 2001.  Following a stint in basic surgical training as well as emergency medicine training in London, he underwent training in Clinical Radiology at the North East Midlands Deanery in 2010. 

In 2015, Mr Hussan was appointed as a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham.  He regularly interprets diagnostic musculoskeletal imaging and performs image-guided intervention for sports, musculoskeletal and rheumatologic disorders.  

Mr Hussan also has an interest in soft tissue sarcoma and regularly partakes in the weekly East Midlands Sarcoma Services Meeting.  He also performs ultrasound guided soft tissue biopsies, as well as CT guided bone and spinal biopsies.

  • Classically trained pianist and was awarded a Grade 8 in Pianoforte and Theory of Music by Trinity College of Music London (1993)
